Deicide played a tight set, opening with the entire Legion album, including numerous songs they have not played for years before this tour. The setlist was entirely composed of songs from the Hoffman brothers era other than one song, "Homage for Satan" which originally featured Ralph Santolla (Death, Iced Earth) and Jack Owen (Cannibal Corpse) on guitar. New for 2022 second guitarist Taylor Nordberg (who previously played with Soilwork, Gus G of Ozzy Osbourne and Massacre) was precise and stayed true to the original rhythm and solo sections through both the Hoffman selections and the aforementioned later track, which was refreshing as these songs feature complex and challenging rhythms and solos that are often improvised on by other players. The attendance was a bit lower than expected, likely due to another 1990's vintage act, At the Gates, performing their best album Slaughter of the Soul in Lawrence the previous night.
