Returning to PPW after a lengthy absence due to focusing on his education, N.P.K. told the world at PPW281 that his focus was on getting back into the hunt for the PPW World Heavyweight Championship, but the reigning champion, Iniestra, would have none of it and carried out a vicious assault on N.P.K., culminating in him challenging N.P.K. to a non-title match at PPW282 where he intends to teach the young "college boy" that there's a new king in PPW's jungle.

Having successfully retained their titles at PPW281, the PPW World Tag Team Champions, Anakin & José Acosta, will have a week off from title defenses, but will both be in action in singles competition when Anakin goes one-on-one against Premier Academy standout Tim Castle while his parter, José, has a tall order ahead of him when he squares off against the three hundred and sixty pound Alaskan wild man, Wolfman Huck.

Having survived an encounter with the three hundred plus pound Wolfman Huck at PPW281, former PPW World Heavyweight Champion, Matt Vine, sets his sights on Huck's tag team partner and a former tag team partner of Vine himself, Chase Gosling, with whom Vine has a long and storied history. What will happen when the two former halves of The Axis of Ego clash in the middle of the ring?

Not Bad Chad and Ultimo may have won an opportunity at the PPW World Tag Team Championships at PPW281, but they must now defend that opportunity against the team who so nearly became the new champions, Semsei and Pancho.
