At PPW280, Matt Vine was unsuccessful in his quest to regain the Premier Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. Now, the longest-reigning champion of the modern era will be forced to start his climb to the top all over again, but the first rung of that ladder will be no easy step, because in the way of his forward momentum stands the three hundred and sixty pound Alaskan wild man, Wolfman Huck.

PPW World Tag Team Champions, Anakin & José Acosta, successfully retained their championships against Chase Gosling & Wolfman Huck at PPW280, but their title reign and teamwork will be put to the test when they take on their arch rivals, Semsei & Pancho, who bested two other tenacious tag teams in a triple threat tag team match at PPW280 to earn their opportunity.

Many did not believe that Iniestra could leave PPW280 with the World Championship when he defended the title against Matt Vine, but “El Mero Mero” silenced the doubters and remains PPW World Heavyweight Champion. However, “El Unico’s” road as the flag bearer of Premier Pro Wrestling faces a major roadblock this Saturday night when new number one contender and former three-time PPW Champion, Chase Gosling, looks to add a fourth reign to his already impressive résumé.--------------------------------------------------------------------
