The FX Impact M3 22 Caliber Slugger Story this far

This has been a great journey this far, I have found that with the 700mm barrel, Heavy Barrel Liner and Carbon fiber sleeve, this Impact with the Huma Heavy Brass Hammer and slug power kit has some limits when coming to super accuracy. I found that in its current configuration I could shoot 32.8 - 34gr slugs at around 1050 FPS very accurately. 1" groups or a bit larger at 100 yards BUT, we were going for HEAVY slugs so I tried to get there with 38 and 40 gr slugs. I think this is where the struggle got real. The amount of hammer and air needed to propel these slugs at 1000+ FPS just became to much for this barrel to handle. So for now we will call this a stop till the Tension Barrel and Tungsten Hammer arrive. I have worked with some of the best tuners I know and they agree we are limited with what we have at this moment. More to come for sure.

A good tune can take a long time to achieve. Patience is key in this evolving world of airguns. Achieving a great tune take time and patience, never forget that. Regulators need to be broken in, barrels also need time to adjust. As seen in my previous videos it can be frustrating when you want to shoot a specific slug and your airgun just does not want to cooperate. I tried for a good time to get my 38gr NSA slugs to work with no good outcome. But once I found that my airgun liked the 35gr NSA slugs... Well it was game time. Be patient and try different slugs, you will find the pellet or slug that shoots best for you with time.
