Scuba Spearfishing Tip: Hold onto the Gun!

I messed up a relatively easy shot on a small yellow jack. Sometimes when the fish is small and I am worried th shaft will pull out, then I will drop the gun and let the fish pull it and tire itself out. I dropped my scooter when I shot and ended up having to leave it a long way away.

My gamble paid off and I got the fish, but it took the gun a long way
