Canmore and Ice Fields Parkway | Road Trip Alberta

Take a scenic drive with us as we check out Canmore, Banff & the Icefield Parkway. Instead of the traditional hwy route down the trans Canada we decide to take hwy 1A past ghost reservoir and straight into Canmore Alberta for a wedding and a few nights at the Blackstone Mountain Lodge. Then we make our way up the ice fields parkway towards the Banff gondola at Sulphur Mountain Summit. We turn off at Saskatchewan River Crossing and make our way through the David Thompson Corridor and make one last stop at the classic rocket ship playground.
