Today’s episode of Chicago Bears Now by Chat Sports explores a Bears-Cowboys trade idea following Tyron Smith’s injury. The Cowboys all-pro left tackle suffered an avulsion fracture in his knee, meaning he tore his hamstring and will be out several months according to NFL Insiders Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport. Chicago Bears rumors are heating up as Bears Now host Harrison Graham explores a Riley Reiff trade to the Cowboys as Dallas is now in desperate need of a starting left tackle. Reiff is currently slated to be the Bears’ swing tackle as Braxton Jones and Larry Borom are looking like the Week 1 starting offensive tackles. Could the Bears trade Reiff to Dallas? Harrison explores that & more Bears news & rumors on today’s show.

Former Chicago Bears’ offensive coordinator and Super Bowl winning head coach Mike Martz ripped Justin Fields and the Bears offense, comparing this team to the 2008 Detroit Lions that went 0-16 that year. Martz said, “Fields is a guy that makes a lot of mistakes and is not particularly accurate at times. He’s not a quick read-and-react guy, and he’s on a horrendous team.” He also added that the Bears have “no talent at wide receiver” and a “bad offensive line”. While the Bears offense has major question marks, Harrison Graham calls out Martz for being a FRAUD as Chicago has legitimate weapons in Darnell Mooney and David Montgomery and a solid TE room led by Cole Kmet. Comparing the 2022 Bears to the 2008 Lions is completely disrespectful and quite frankly a ridiculous statement.
