Taiwan President vows to defend Island as China continues to carry out drills

Sending off China's military advances is not new to Taiwan. 64 years ago, during the August 23rd battle, Taiwan successfully defended itself from China. On Tuesday, President Tsai Ing-wen said she believes the island can do so again.
