Some of the enemies encountered throughout the campaign include the Arachnotron, Hell Knight, Maykr Drone, Pinky, Revenant, Prowler and Mancubus. There are also Fodder class enemies which consist of the Gargoyle, Imp, Lost Soul, Solider and Zombies that are easier kills for ammo, armor and health.

The Doom Slayer can regenerate health with Glory Kills. Armor shards spawn from enemies inflicted with fire damage from your shoulder flame thrower, and ammo drops via the chainsaw execution.
