Motorcycles are more stable and have more ground clearance though a turn if the throttle is applied early in the curve. You can check you skill level as you ride, simply by noting where the throttle is applied throughout the curve. If you apply the throttle before the halfway point in a curve you are doing a good job. If it is after the halfway point to are over riding your skill set for that curve.
