Ralph K. Ginorio 184-INS: SWORN OATHS TO THE CONSTITUTION

While our rights and freedoms may come from God, in practical terms they derive from our fundamental law, the United States Constitution. This is why every member of our military services, every officer in our law enforcement agencies, and every elected official swears a solemn oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign or domestic. However, there are signs that may who take the oath are insincere; their real loyalty going to their personal ideology or careerist ambitions. If our sworn officials break their oaths, then every freedom and right we hold dear is placed at risk.
