SHINE WITH THE TALENT YOU HAVE BUT NEVER STOP GROWING

John Maxwell says, “Talent is never enough.”

If you are counting on your talent to carry you through life, there are three things you need to know:
1. Talent alone is not enough to earn a living and build a legacy.
2. Other people will capitalize on your talent if you let them.
3. Growing your character, wisdom and skills will prevent your talent from being an empty shell.

Personal growth and development are a choice and a challenge. If you chose to grow, then you must be willing to invest and make sacrifices. Success is always uphill. If it seems like its coming to you easily, you’re likely doing it wrong OR you’re leaving too much potential on the table.

It is possible to live a large portion of your life, earning money, growing a fan base, building up the trophy case and still be empty and hollow. The best example of DOING IT RIGHT are the former PROFESSIONAL players who move on to coaching, broadcasting talent or sports analysts. They are maximizing the experience of their talent but they have also prepared themselves to be and do more after the talent window has run its course.

Don’t let your talent be an empty shell. Build something solid inside it.
