Shoes For Kids YQL Event Needing Donations For Much Needed Footwear - August 24, 2022 - Micah Quinn
Shoes are something many of us take for granted. There are many in Canada who are not able to access adequate footwear. This is especially tough for families in need as children head back to school. The Shoes For Kids YQL event is coming up Saturday where residents are asked to donate new shoes to help out kids in Kindergarten through grade 12. Lethbridge Police and members of The Watch will be helping out at the event. One of the organizers, Monica Cove, says it will be a drive thru drop off with cash donations also accepted.
You can drop off shoes at the Enmax Centre on Saturday from 10am to 12pm.
