Giants Injury NEWS: Collin Johnson Tears Achilles, Sterling Shepard Off PUP + Giants Sign 3 Players

Giants’ WR Collin Johnson has suffered a torn Achilles tendon according to multiple reports from New York Giants training camp. This will almost certainly end Johnson’s season which is a shame as he was in line to make the Giants 53-man roster. There is some good Giants news however as fellow WR Sterling Shepard has been activated off the PUP List and is ready to return to practice. Shepard tore his Achilles late last season. To help provide depth at WR, the Giants claimed WR Jaylon Moore after he was cut by the Ravens yesterday. Moore has spent the past 3 seasons on the Ravens practice squad. The Giants also claimed DB Harrison Hand off waivers from the Vikings.
