Potato Power

While we are getting the other items in for the solar project here is a simple project you can create from home. It consists of 2 large potatoes some copper and zinc anodes and alligator clips with a mini digital clock. Simply take the two anodes of copper and push them in 2/3 of the way into each potato. On the opposite side of the potato connect 2 zinc anodes. then taking a alligator clip simply connect one copper anode from one potato to a zinc anode to the other potato thus connecting both potatoes. Then take another alligator clip and connect the free copper connector and let it dangle and do the same with the other potato and let it dangle as well. Now you can connect small accessories light led bulbs, a small digital clock and even a volt meter to the two dangling ends and magically see the potatoes power these items up... Have Fun
