Luke 15:1-10 "The Heart of God"

In this exchange we learn something about our Savior…sinners…who were hated by the Pharisees…
And tax collectors…who were hated by everyone…felt comfortable enough to come to Jesus.
Jesus made them feel welcome and loved!
And after hearing the words Jesus spoke just before this…telling the crowd that if you don’t hate your family…
If you don’t forsake all and pick up your cross…you cannot be My disciple.
After hearing that…they were still coming to Jesus…there is something to be said for that.
That despite the tough teaching…they counted the cost and came to Jesus.
It wasn’t that Jesus was soft on sin that attracted them…He wasn’t…He made it a point not to condone sin…but to address it.
Sinners felt comfortable enough to come to Jesus…yet He never made them feel comfortable in their sin.
