Darya Dugina in the Azovstal catacombs
Darya Aleksandrovna Dugina, also known under pen name Daria Platonova, was a Russian journalist and political activist. She was the daughter of Aleksandr Dugin, a right-wing political philosopher, whose political views and support for Vladimir Putin she shared. She was killed in August 2022 in a car bombing in Moscow by suspected Ukrainian operatives.
Video by Graham Phillips, who said: "Had a look through my videos of that day, mid June, and just wanted to share this one, of Darya Dugina [in the] Azovstal catacombs. I only met Dasha that day, but was very taken with her, a lovely, very friendly person, very active - always filming something, switching fluently between Russian, and English. It was a busy day, didn't even have time to pose for a photo, but I filmed an interview with her, filmed her generally - she was extremely engaging, interesting, open, passionate, highly committed to her work."
