Michigan Severe Weather Limited by One Factor -Great Lakes Weather

Despite many ingredients coming together for a decent severe weather event today, the SPC has only placed a slight severe risk across parts of Michigan today due to one limiting factor- the cap. This cold front will drive scattered severe weather today in parts of central Michigan and will stagnate in lower Michigan and parts of Indiana and Ohio tomorrow, producing more strong thunderstorms and heavy rain.
