Multi-Day Severe Weather Event Possible over the holiday weekend -Great Lakes Weather

Many models are pointing to severe weather potential across much of the Great Lakes Region over the next two days. Westerly winds aloft will work with southerly winds at the surface to drive spin in the atmosphere which will provide a more viable atmosphere for thunderstorms. Instability displacement may alter severe potential, and there are still multiple questions about the mode of development, but stay tuned for updates regarding this event as new information comes in.
