motor bike collides with car in horrific crash

A motorcyclist is lucky to be alive after he was t-boned by a car in a horror crash that resulted in him battling a brain injury and losing a testicle.

Incredible dash cam footage captured the moment the motorcyclist was hit after a driver seemingly failed to see him at the Princes Highway intersection, in Melbourne.
Catapulted high into the air after colliding with the car, the motorcyclist was left with serious injuries and told the Melbourne Magistrates Court he wants the driver jailed, Nine News reports.
Footage captured by the dash cam shows the motorcyclist riding down the middle lane of a three-lane road.
A car can be seen pulling across the three lanes just seconds before the motorcyclist reaches the intersection.

But after narrowly avoiding one vehicle the rider is then suddenly faced with another car in his path, which he is this time unable to avoid.
Slamming into the drivers' side of the vehicle at high speed, the rider is thrown over his handlebars and flies over the top of the SUV.

After doing a front flip in mid-air the rider lies motionless on the ground, with scans later revealing he had a brain injury, broken pelvis and a collapsed lung.

The horror crash left the motorcyclist in intensive care for a fortnight and unable to walk for up to three months.
