In this video, I do a deep dive on the intracrine/paracrine nature of estradiol in men with Dr. Jordan Grant, MD, who is a board certified urologist at Paris Urology at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas, USA. We discuss how the measurement of estradiol is very different from an endocrine hormone such as testosterone. Most men on TRT obsess about the lab numbers of estradiol they see in their bloodwork along with physicians who often prescribe an aromatase inhibitor (also called an AI), to block the conversion of testosterone into estradiol.
