You're The Cure, June 15, 2020 - Dr. Ben Edwards and Barbara Loe Fisher

On today’s show, Dr. Ben interviews Barbara Loe Fisher from the National Vaccine Information Center (nvic.org). Barbara begins by telling her story of how she got to where she is today. She shares her work in the 1980s of trying to get vaccine reform on a political level. The reform that came then was much different from what we see today. Today, vaccine manufacturers cannot be held liable for any adverse reaction for any reason. Dr. Ben and Barbara discuss statistics surrounding vaccine injury and reporting. During the second half of the show, they discuss specific states and their regulations regarding exemption laws and vaccines that are currently being made. Barbara ends the show by encouraging listeners to be informed and involved in the process so that we can keep our liberties.
