Proverbs 3:7 King James Version
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR FRIENDS!!!

There's something about the story of this young boy king, that really makes me sad. Here is a young man who started off under a godly influence, a godly influence that was somewhere between 90 and 100 years old, in Jehoiada, and then after this godly priest passes away, young Joash falls apart! He falls apart spiritually, because he lets other people, ungodly people dictate is thinking, and the end result is a prideful, arrogant, wicked king, who winds up murdered by his own men. There's something about the questions that we're in this morning's devotional, that really got me to thinking about my life direction, and what I'm pursuing, and I'd like to share these questions with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will speak to your heart through them.

How would you describe the direction of your life to this point?

What I'd like to do right now is share some thoughts that God showed me from this morning's passage of scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight. I pray that what I share with you, challenges you as to what direction your life is in, and that if it is in the wrong direction, you'll ask God to help you change it. Come join me in this blog, and learn what it means to choose God course over your own! 😊

So, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that God speaks to your heart through it.

What changes might you want to ask God to help you make?

Are you trying to do things your own way instead of God? Are you going down a path where the Holy Spirit is desperately trying to tell you don't go down it, but you're about to, or you're not listening at all? If so, stop and listen to Him! If you've committed a sin against God, and you know it, humble yourself before God, confess and repent of that sin, then turn away from it! Start choosing to follow God and not yourself, because if you continue following your way, it's only gonna bring you more heartache. Don't do what Joash in the last part of his reign, and make the fatal mistake of forsaking God. Don't try to be wise in yourself, don't try to we rely on your own strength, but choose to pursue God's wisdom for your life, over the fleeting things of this world, and watch how much God will bless you!

UNTIL WEDNESDAY:

HAVE A VERY RESTFUL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
