“Abraham, Then Israel, the Pathway Back to God” from Genesis 12.

Once mankind had turned their backs on Yahweh at Babel, and Yahweh righteously turned his back on that rebellion, then in His grace He raised up a nation via Abram (later Abraham) to be a pathway back to God. That assignment has now been transferred to the Church of Jesus Christ.
