Did “the Science” change that much since this flashback or what happened?

Let’s go back just a bit in time. In this video flash from the past, before “the Science” changed, Fauci explained that infection causes people to develop more potent immune responses than vaccination could.

He said, “If she really has the flu, she definitely doesn’t need a flu vaccine. She doesn’t need it because the most potent vaccination is getting infected yourself.” Hmm, if infection is MORE protective than a vaccination, why was everyone mandated to be vaxxed, even if they had Covid?
