The Lethbridge Salvation Army was the victim of vandalism last Friday. Lethbridge Police say two vehicles were damaged at their location with the gas tanks being ruptured. The attack caused fuel to leak onto the parking lot and into the sewer system. Major Donald Bladen, the Salvation Army's Community Ministries Officer, says this isn’t the first time they have been targeted.

The matter is currently under investigation by the LPS. Bladen says the damage will be in the thousands of dollars. The Salvation Army supports vulnerable people in 400 communities across Canada and more than 130 countries around the world.
