Sudden adult death syndrome, also known as sudden arrhythmic death syndrome (SADS), is a term known generally to medical professionals. The fact that there are so many young people, less than 40 years old (athletes, and other relatively healthy folks) that are dying while running, swimming, or sleeping, should be alarming to many of us.
