I've always loved this song and artist. I recently realized it said what I'd been trying to say to this girl more accurately than the last 4 songs I've written about her. I was deeper embarrassed learning this GORGEOUS love song was written by another of my favorite voices, Kim Carnes.
Sorry Geddy, Alex, and Neil, Rush were the second greatest Canadian artist of all time. But Anne Murray is Queen Canada, with Princess Sara Mclachlan lovingly and patiently in the wings.
I need to apologize to this girl in New York. She's not one to notice how guys drool or care, but she must be thinking something is wrong with HER since all the New Yorkers that once chased her now just pout. Poor thing probably thinks they're ignoring her. You have not lost a step dear. They just know about me now. They realize there is more charismatic, sensuous mass in my fingertip's silhouette than in all they all have to offer if they all combine all they have altogether. It's not you sweetie.
