We’ve all been talking about uncertainty since the late 1980’s, dealing with uncertainty has been recognized as one of our most significant leadership challenges. But the level of uncertainty surrounding the ongoing pandemic is unprecedented in scope and brings with it profound implications for our organizations. Under high levels of uncertainty and pressure, behind every great team stands a leader who is not afraid to push the group to the limits of what they know they can do.

I had the honor of interviewing Jay Paterno, President at Blue Line 409 LLC. - specializes in communications, public speaking/messaging & other ventures. Jay is well known football coach and in 2011 Rivals.com called him “Big 10's top QB Coach”. Jay is also best-selling author of “Paterno Legacy-Enduring Lessons from the Life and Death of My Father” and “Hot Seat – A year inside college football’s pressure cooker”.

Jay shared insights on his father legacy, lessons learned and how these lessons can be applied to current business and leadership environments. Jay also explained leadership and personal development with sports teams, specially from football. Jay also shared his thoughts on impact from current disruption on education, business, and sports.
