Fishing a city lake in Greenville TX, in the middle of the summer. The area is restricted by foot so we are using a kayak. The area is also patrolled by the super aggressive and painful chigger of Texas.

I fish and hunt for food. I love to do it but I am not in it for sport. I sustain my family on what I harvest while on these outings. Many people think of Large Mouth bass as holy and they should never be eaten. This goes counter to my beliefs, I have never read in the word of God where this fish is protected. I never take more than my limit and do not keep large fish. We have to stop bashing other sportsmen for doing things differently. I do not jug line or trotline, but you will never see me bash another legal method of harvest.
