In the book of Judges 7:9-15, scripture reveals that God said to Gideon that he had "DELIVERED" the Midianites into his hands. In essence, what God was saying to Gideon, He had already secured victory for Isreal through Gideon. However, this was difficult for Gideon to accept because they had yet to prepare to even fight the Midianites. Nevertheless, it would be through the dream of one of the Midianites that only confirmed that Gideon and his crew would conquer the Midianites. So, as you can see, dreams reveal the future!
