Taliban government's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement has called on United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to not "use sanctions as a tool of pressure". This comes after United Nations failed to reach an agreement on the extension of travel exemptions for 13 Taliban officials. "Some bigoted western circles are...trying to create distance between Afghanistan and...world," the ministry said.
