THE CAPTURE OF BIGFOOT 1979 - A small mountain town has made an industry out of Bigfoot sightings & merchandise. All this may come to an end soon as a series of killings occur without suspects & the locals decide that Bigfoot is responsible. A local obnoxious businessman hopes to trap Bigfoot so that he can get all the publicity gravy.

Bill Rebane used profits from his hit The Giant Spider Invasion (which can be seen on this channel) to make this film and the Sci-Fi Thriller Alpha Incident, also on this channel. It comes near the tail end of the Bigfoot popularity & was less of a hit than was hoped. It portrays Bigfoot more sympathetically than many other films of the sub-genre.
