Iwakuni’s Green Knights Conduct Flight Ops Aboard USS Tripoli

May 23, 2022 - U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II aircraft with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA)-121 conduct flight operations aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli (LHA 7) while underway. Marines with VMFA-121, based out of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, are conducting flight operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
