How to: Move a refrigerator by yourself

This is not the only way to move a fridge by yourself, but it's one I've often employed with moderate effort and success. This fridge was being junked, so no special care was made to protect it. If you tilt over a refrigerator during transport as illustrated, and intend to use the fridge thereafter, you should keep it in an upright position for a bit once you reach your destination so the oils in the compressor will settle back into the sump. I hope you'll never have to resort to moving these giant ice box by yourself; if need be, however, I hope this helps you. Be well.
