Silicone roof coating

Showcasing the actual coverage of a 4.5 gallon jug of 100% silicone roof coating. The specification estimates the coverage at 50 sf/gallon. At 225 sf of coverage/jug, this stuff comes out to approximately $1/square foot, and will purportedly withstand the elements for 50-years. The texture of the surface we were painting was weathered and cracked like a dry riverbed; we probably got closer to 180 square feet of production, if that.
