Russian military equipment on Kyiv's main street for Independence Day

Kyiv's central street, Khreshchatyk, has hosted an exhibition of damaged military equipment for Ukraine's Independence Day.

Footage shot on Saturday August 20, 2022 shows tanks, armoured carriers and other damaged military equipment in the city.

On 19 August, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine announced a plan to celebrate the 31st anniversary of Ukraine's independence, which will take place on 24 August. Russian military equipment was displayed on Khreshchatyk, as well as a number of other demonstrations and flash mobs.
