Acura RL radiator cap repair

A blown fuse for the radiator fan led to this sequence of pain-in-the-butt events. It's times like these that makes me long for the simpler days of mechanical minimalism; a car and its vital functions should not be handicapped by electronic/electrical controls. As much as I enjoy the bells and whistles that accompany modern goods, it frustrates me to no end the carriage-before-the horse engineering that has become ubiquitous in our society.
