Solar pool pump 2

A continuation of my slide down the slippery slope of solar electrical conversion. This is the near final installation of the solar pool pump (PV cables not yet protected from the elements). This set-up is powered by four 290 watt panels (3S1P) to keep the open circuit voltage under MPPT controller requirement. It gives me a little bit of joy to see the pool pump and robot hustling with the Sun blaring in the sky. If you are on the fence about going solar, I hope this video helps you.
