Hydro Gear Motor leak

Lower your expectations. This is a lengthy and incomplete documentary of the hydraulic leak troubleshoot on my Wright zero-turn mower. The right-hand Hydro-Gear motor (HGM-15E-3051) was heavily encrusted in oil and soot, which lead to its removal for autopsy. Come to find out the o-rings are completely flattened and sealing poorly; furthermore, the replacement seal kit (70602) is available for a low bargain price of $250 (WTF%$!#$%@!#$!). Investigating alternative before yielding to this highway robbery for 3 rubber o-rings and 7 crush washers.
