HDPE plastic repair

There are a lot of household items made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE); from milk jugs, detergent containers, to garbage cans and even entire Kayaks. HDPE is fairly resilient to abuse, but it is not without limit. Neat thing about this polymer is that it can be melted down and re-worked with a little bit of heat, making it infinitely repairable. I hope this unlikely DIY repair helps you.
