Tract Optics were unknown to me until a very well respected friend of mine turned me on to them. I quickly found out competitors and hunters alike loved the brand. After getting this Toric 1-8 LPVO and taking it to the range a few times the reasons were clear why they were so popular with people I had spoken to. The ultra hd Schott glass is nothing short of amazing. The reticle was extremely crisp and clear all the way through the magnification and all of the mechanical dials felt like they were on ceramic ball bearings. I was in the market for another Nightforce NX8 however this one was literally half the price with all of the performance I needed.
