Mahinda: I would have asked Gotabaya not to leave Lanka

After fleeing from widespread protests and an economic crisis, the famous Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is now seeking to return home. Gotabaya fled to Singapore, then to Thailand after a huge crowd stormed the Presidential Palace.
