Monkeypox can be on the way to a school near you
This is an infectious disease that is transmitted when people are in a close physical distance for a long time
The centers for disease control and prevention have reported more than 14,000 cases of monkeopox in the United States and increased rapidly, with the vast majority among homosexual or bisexual men. As the cases begin to appear outside this community, they will provide information on the alternative media that the virus may be spreading. The close and consistent physical contact remains the main vector for transmission. However, recent cases among young children suggest that prolonged physical contact may not be as necessary as first. The range of ways in which the virus can be transmitted remains nuanced. Since epidemiologists and public health officials are observing and learning in real time, if the transmission can occur from a more casual physical contact, then the virus is mature to spread to the general population. The most vulnerable subpopulations are the youngest members of society: young children, school and young adults at the university. Young and immunosuppressed children remain at the highest risk of adverse results. Young children have a natural propensity to play and touch each other. If one of those children is infected with Monkeopox, it can generate a local outbreak with the other children and their teachers. Many of these children participate in physical contact such as the playful fight. Such activities are innate. Trying to limit or prevent such physical contact is not only useless, but it could be harmful to its development. Older children also show a natural trend for close physical contact. Team sports such as wrestling, football, basketball and rugby involve significant physical contact, creating an environment to transmits the virus. Young people in this age group also begin to explore appointments, providing even more potential opportunities for virus transmission. University students are perhaps the most vulnerable. Interactions both inside and outside the classroom are abundant. Full classrooms, bedrooms and residences, as well as sporting events, all students approach students. So what are the drivers that can allow the Monkeoypox to approach through these populations? First, there is no insufficient supply of vaccines available for all these populations, even when the doses are divided up to five to one. Secondly, sending quickly and transporting vaccines to the necessary premises would be a logistics nightmare. Third, and more critically, managing vaccines to such children and young adults, the so -called "last mile" would be
