Bee Cool - Peppermint Scented Honey Soap with Cocoa Butter

Today's soap is called Bee Cool. I decided to make a honey soap collection and I came across a peppermint scented fragrance that I really wanted to try (which smells amazing!). I wasn't sure if it's be a proper fit but the end result is fabulous! It's a very creamy bar with a scent that refreshes the senses. I love it! :D

I got the fragrance oil from Fragrance Buddy and it's called Crushed Candy Cane. I'm very pleased with it... no acceleration or discoloration.

Bee Cool is actually kind of a redo of another soap I did a while ago called Cool But Sunny. In that soap I used a peppermint essential oil from Mountain Rose Herbs. And, while MRH has excellent quality product, the peppermint EO seemed to fade pretty quickly in my cp soap. So, that's why I made the decision to use a fragrance oil in this version.

This soap is naturally colored by the honey except for the embed, which is unscented and colored with Mimosa and Rise & Shine from Nurture Soap.

The honey I used is from a local bee farmer here in Alabama called, CC Bees.

As with all my soaps, I use oat powder, kaolin clay, coconut milk, and salt.
