At least 12 killed in Somalia hotel siege

Somali forces have ended the siege at a hotel in Somalia's capital Mogadishu, the AFP news agency said in a tweet on Saturday (August 20), citing a security commander. Gunfire had been heard that evening in Reuters footage, while small explosions were visible in the built up areas surrounding the hotel.
