Making a 3D Printed Rain Bait Lure

This is a 3d Printed fishing lure I designed my self in fusion 360. To the best of my knowledge this is the first of its kind. For this bait I wanted a rain bait imitation. Rain bait for those of you who don't know, rain bait is a general term used for small baitfish that splash around on the top of the water making it look like it is raining. On the north east coast this Is usually the bay anchovy. I molded this directly after an artist rendition of one. rather than utilize a normal tail design, I used a fork tail. This is so the lure can be worked very quickly and have a nice action while doing so. For me this lure is primarily made for fluke (summer flounder), bonita and false albacore. However it should work for a variety of inshore saltwater species around the world. The files here are soft plastic injection molds. They can be printed on either and fdm or a resin 3D printer. For fdm I found that PETG works best for me (I haven't tried nylon or pc yet). The resin I printed this mold with in the video is syriatech sculpt. You can inject this mold in any color you want, I would love to see what colors you come up with! Feel free to check out my other lures as well.

These lures take quite a bit of effort to make so if you want to help me out I would greatly appreciate if you could subscribe to my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgNxM4lhZu1yVbONskpcwZw?sub_confirmation=1
Enjoy and go catch some fish!!
