Happily for believers, Paul teaches no such thing. The subject of the book is stated very clearly. The Law is not in question. Three times Paul tells us his meaning very plainly: 2:16; 3:11; and 5:4. He is talking about the difference between justification by works and justification by faith. The misuse of the law for earning merit is discussed, but not throwing out the Law.Show more
