911 Twin Tower tanker airplane witnesses no civilian plane

Witnesses around New York City testified reporting NO airline markings. A strange airplane of a dark grey color and with a "black V" in front of the cockpit impacted the second Twin Tower - maybe an average airliner, after such a long fly will not make so spectacular blast?
