YOU WERE RIGHT AND I WAS WRONG! | ECHO PB-9010

I made a video about this dilemma I had almost 4 months ago. Would you blow off extra areas around the house for FREE? I said NO! So, shortly after posting the video on mentioning it on Instagram, I had a ton of comments which I appreciate! Turns out, I was wrong for not including this added service in my weekly lawn maintenance.

It honestly never occurred to me include it in my pricing and to JUST DO IT. I was always looking for the most efficient way to mow a lawn and adding extra blowing only decreases my efficiency. That is until I started increasing my rates to just include it! Commanding higher prices by performing 'extra' or added services helps set you apart from the competition.

Yes, using my Echo PB-9010 and blowing off entryways, patios, driveways, windowsills does take me longer and it will for you. It is only a couple of minutes extra spent on each property, but if you are not increasing your base rate and your current rates and doing this, consider rate adjustments for your customers and start incorporating it into your lawn mowing pricing! I guarantee that if I stop doing this for 1-2 weeks at customer properties, I will be getting calls, texts, emails asking if I could blow clear the areas I was doing. My rates are higher and my per man hour rate is above $85 on 95% of all my mowing jobs, so it seems silly to me that I never did this before! What do you think?
